More than eleven years with ALDI in Australia, the United States and Germany, starting in the stores and moving through replenishment, SAP rollout and global reporting. Most recently I led reporting for supply chain and logistics across 7 countries. I am happy in a management role, and just as keen to get back to hands-on data and reporting work.

Über elf Jahre bei ALDI in Australien, den USA und Deutschland: angefangen in der Filiale, dann Disposition, SAP-Einführung und globales Reporting.     • Built more than 300 harmonised SAP BW KPIs so 7 countries report supply chain performance the same way.
    • Product owner lead for the supply chain and logistics part of the reporting platform: vision, roadmap, and a backlog sized by ROI and business value.
    • Ran discovery workshops with business teams in all 7 countries covering inbound, outbound, ordering, forecasting and replenishment.
    • Built around 20 Power BI dashboards on a platform for up to 10,000 internal users, with daily inventory and supply KPIs for the first time.
    • Led a 6-month remodel of report backends that improved accuracy and speed. Helped deliver Project ATLAS, a governed self-service analytics tool.
    • Über 300 harmonisierte SAP-BW-KPIs aufgebaut, damit 7 Länder ihre Supply-Chain-Kennzahlen einheitlich berichten.

    • Moved legacy in-house systems onto SAP (MM and IM) across more than 300 sites, run as a waterfall project.
    • Migrated master data for 10,000+ articles, 1,500 suppliers and 700 sites, and onboarded more than 500 suppliers.
    • Used Celonis to catch data issues across 7 migrations: 80% fewer errors on the first, thousands of issues fixed, 2 FTE of manual checking saved.
    • Wrote SOPs, coordinated user acceptance testing, and built small internal tools for data extraction and training.
    • Ablösung eigenentwickelter Altsysteme durch SAP (MM und IM) an über 300 Standorten, gesteuert als Wasserfall-Projekt.
    • Stammdatenmigration für 10.000+ Artikel, 1.500 Lieferanten und 700 Standorte; Onboarding von über 500 Lieferanten.
    • Datenqualitätssicherung mit Celonis über 7 Migrationen: 80 % weniger Fehler beim ersten Rollout, Tausende Datenfehler behoben, 2 FTE manueller Prüfaufwand eingespart.

    • Ran replenishment for 2,000+ products and 50+ stores, keeping availability above 99% and waste under 5% of category sales.
    • Forecasting with moving averages, seasonality, regression and safety-stock calculations, built in SQL, Excel and VBA.
    • During COVID-19 the regional warehouse ranked first internally for availability among 8 distribution centres supplying 600+ stores.
    • Led a 10-person team and handled supplier negotiations, order checks and supply shortages on fresh produce.
    • Disposition für 2.000+ Artikel und 50+ Filialen, mit einer Verfügbarkeit über 99 % und Verderb unter 5 % des Kategorie-Umsatzes.

Outside work I design and 3D-print functional parts from measured drawings, more than 100 so far, using Fusion, SolidWorks and Blender. Earlier I did freelance architectural renders for a property developer, about 30 house designs in AutoCAD and 3ds Max. It is the same habit as the day job: get the measurements right first.

In meiner Freizeit konstruiere und drucke ich funktionale 3D-Teile nach Maßzeichnungen, bisher über 100, mit Fusion, SolidWorks und Blender. Früher habe ich freiberuflich Architekturvisualisierungen für einen Bauträger erstellt, rund 30 Hausentwürfe in AutoCAD und 3ds Max. Im Grunde dieselbe Gewohnheit wie im Job: Erst müssen die Maße stimmen.
